The Week That Was: 7/5 to 7/11

Posted by: joymanning In: Week in Review

3 meals away from home. Yup, that’s two more than I had planned. But they weren’t frivolous dinners. They were non-optional work meals.
2 major violations of my rules and regs. (Remember them? I think I need to increase my official upper alcoholic beverage limit to three. Because three drinks over the course of an evening [...]

3 meals away from home.
I was supposed to be following some set of rules or guidelines for healthy living? I forgot.
20 alcoholic beverages. Twice as many as I had planned on having. I suck. I actually consumed more booze-related calories than I burned off at the gym.
6 workouts at the gym for a total of [...]

The Week that Was: 5/24 to 5/30

Posted by: joymanning In: Week in Review

Yes, it’s been a while since I recapped the week. They have been crazy, kind of, for the past month, and not a lot of fun to tally up and take a look at.
5 meals away from home.
3 violations of rules. I actually stuck to all my rules and regs this week, except for that [...]

The Week that Was: 4/12 to 4/18

Posted by: joymanning In: Week in Review

I should have known this week wasn’t going to go very well when we didn’t make it to the grocery store last weekend.
4 infractions of my rules for 2009: I didn’t shop for the week ahead; Dan and I ordered two desserts at a restaurant–both very large and very good; and there were the drinking [...]

I’m not even going to attempt to count up the infractions. There were so, so, so many. I was on the go so much. I could have stayed more focused and kept it under better control, but I just didn’t. Here’s the nitty-gritty:
18 alcoholic beverages for the week. That’s almost 3,000 calories.
7 meals away from [...]

The Week that Was: 3/29 to 4/4

Posted by: joymanning In: Week in Review

Maybe you noticed. I never posted a meal plan for the week. It all went to hell because as of last Sunday, my upcoming restaurant review plans weren’t all nailed down. I didn’t know when I’d be eating home or when I’d be out. Then things got even hairier with mixed up reservations and last [...]

Stay tuned [...]

3 violations of the rules and regs. Twice I strayed from my meal plan, though one of those times was a last-minute work related eating obligation. Dan and I also each had our own dessert one night.
6.5 alcoholic beverages–a much lower total than the past four weeks.
6 workouts at the gym, [...]
