What I Weigh Today

152

Posted by: joymanning In: Weigh In

Everyone knows that this time of year is challenging for anyone who struggles with weight and body image. I know I ate/drank/indulged a bit too much over the holiday weekend, but I can certainly live with it. Would I rather weigh less than 150? Yes, though I am well aware that that benchmark of acceptability is arbitrary. I feel frustrated, both about my weight and about my inability to fully accept it. At this point, Christmas is more than three weeks away and I hope that those weeks will be marked by normal, intuitive eating and regular exercise. It’s much easier when you work from home. Offices tend to get carried away with all the many junk foods of the season.

I understand your frustration because I’m going through the same thing myself. Hang in there.
