In case anyone was wondering, I have failed miserably in my efforts to abstain from alcohol. (Stepped-up workouts are going great though!)
It may be the inevitable outcome of self-denial. This week, I discovered a great weight loss blog via Twitter (Food Food Body Body) and its author wrote the following in a recent, terrific post: “if I feel deprived in ANY WAY, shape or form, I’m going to overeat. Every single time.” Amen to that. Next time I find myself issuing edicts about what I can’t have, I better check myself.
